High school poetry champ

Ivohna Howard writes about what makes her angry. Raised by her grandparents in Central New Jersey, she took a poetry class because she thought it would be easy. It wasn’t, but she won a statewide competition for high school students and went on to perform at the 2008 Dodge Poetry Festival at Waterloo Village. Her poem is called “My World.”
